Lip Enhancement

The Board Certified Manhattan Plastic Surgeon, David Rapaport, MD frequently performs lip enhancement on his NYC patients.

Lip Enhancement is for anyone (men or women) who desire to enhance the appearance of their lips and perioral region (the area around the lips). The patient does not necessarily need to have thin lips, but the procedure is quite effective for increasing the size of the lips. Many of the Manhattan, New York Plastic Surgeon's patients who undergo this quick treatment elect to have their lips enhanced with  Restylane®, Radiesse®, or Sculptra®.  The NYC Plastic Surgeon will explain which treatment is best for your particular case.

Lip augmentation is a relatively simple procedure with few problems. However, as with all surgical procedures, complications may occur. The most common complications are: cold sore outbreak, infection, and re-absorption of the implants.
