heading  Radiesse Injections

David P. Rapaport, MD, FACS is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in private practice in Manhattan, New York.  The NYC Plastic Surgeon offers Radiesse Injections on-site in his fully accredited surgical suite in Manhattan, New York as an out-patient procedure.

Radiesse™ is FDA approved  and has been used in Europe for the past few years as a tissue augmentation substance for the treatment of depressed defects on the face, e.g., expression lines, scars, acne and lip enlargement.

The NYC Plastic Surgeon, David Rapaport, MD, FACS, has been treating patients with Radiesse™ since 2002 in his Manhattan, New York offices for the above purposes and to also help introduce this procedure in the United States. The procedure is performed with a small gauge needle injection after the application of a topical anesthetic cream. You'll begin to notice results on the day of the procedure, and effects typically last 1 to 2 years.

Radiesse is injectable filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite, which lasts two to three years. Because it is not animal based, there is no allergy testing required prior to treatment. Calcium hydroxylapatite is biodegradable, so it is safely absorbed by your body over time. The NYC Plastic Surgeon uses Radiesse in many applications including:

heading Non-Surgical Nose Job
heading Non-Surgical Chin Enhancement
heading Non-Surgical Jowl Lift
heading Non-Surgical Facelift
heading Smoothing wrinkles and folds throughout the face
heading Filling acne scars

Radiesse injections cause no significant pain, swelling, or recovery time. A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. Small amounts of Radiesse are injected into precise locations, and in most cases you will be asked to give feedback so that you have

If you are interested in Radiesse and would like to learn more please make a consultation with the Manhattan, New York Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, David Rapaport MD, FACS at his NYC office by phoning 212.752.1129.
